About Us

"my earliest memories of working with dogs are as a child looking forward to visiting my grandfather's Chicago home where he kept an old Folger's coffee can full of milkbones. He loved to befriend the stray alley dogs and feed them milk-bones and water, transforming them from skittish, anxious, and aggressive into calm and friendly- needless to say that made lasting impression. 

​

In the time since, I've volunteered and worked with dogs, providing boarding, obedience, tracking, and protection training while pursuing a career in engineering in Illinois and Arizona.

 

when the opportunity to become involved with til mar arose, I immediately sold my home and gave up my engineering career to pursue what previously seemed like an impossible retirement goal.

 

crazy? maybe, but 10-year old me would be proud.
